Short courses 2011 - SGeMS and MPS
I will be repeating last year SGeMS and MPS short courses at the mining department of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Porto Alegre, Brazil. This is the best opportunity to become an expert with SGeMS and/or MPS and learn about the latest version of the software.
The first short course Applied Geostatistics covers the theory of geostatistics and SGeMS advanced capabilities. A lot of emphasis is given on scripting to automate complex procedures. This is the class to become a sgems expert user.
The second course is fully devoted to multiple-point simulation. This is the most exhaustive training on mps that is offered. We cover the algorithms, modeling of trends as well as the generation of training images. This class has a substantial practical component.
